Agnetha
I -obviously- came across this name because of Agnetha Fältskog. The association is very positive.
Despite this, I don't like really much its meaning, while the sound is strong and audacious. And you? What do you think?

I love it!! I like Agnessa too. The meaning is ok.
It's used occasionally by Afrikaans-speaking South Africans, and shortened to Netha, pronounced almost like Nita, but with a schwa after the EE. I like it, but I can see that people who aren't familiar with Nordic languages, or Dutch/Afrikaans, might find it rather complicated.
