Jeanette it my given name, a combination of my both grandparents names, Jennie and Antoinette (called Nettie) who passed on from cancer before I was born. Did not care for my other grandmother who was mean and called me Jean to annoy me. I took Marie as my confirmation name. I like the 2 names together as Jeanette is unusual. I am not a girly girl as some posts reference. I am a smart and successful career woman. Proud that Joan of Arc was also a Jeanette (variant). Unique names are memorable and set folks apart. Waiting for a hurricane or song to be named for Jeanette! LOL!
