I prefer Edward. But Edmund is growing on me. I also really like Edouard and Edmond. Edwin doesn’t appeal to me. Same with Edgar.
Ed seems like the most obvious to me but I kinda love Ned. So I’d go with Ned. That said, I like Eddie.
If I thought of him as Edward, I’d end up using Eddie but if I thought of him as Ned, I might end up using Neddie (although it’s not as nice looking in writing).
Ted/Teddy belong to Theodore for me.
