I wouldn't choose Edmund. It's about as OK as the others, but I just don't enjoy the -mund. Which is why I would choose Rosamond instead of Rosamund.
I prefer Edwin to Edward, probably because it's less common and maybe because I knew a really dishy Edwin when I was at school. But, Edward is a family name, so I'd probably use it IRL. It would only ever be a mn anyway.
Ted, I think, rather than Ned. Neddy is the standard name for a donkey, or it used to be; and Ed is just too flat and obvious. And I'd use the same nn regardless of age.
