Before I would have said girl, until I spent a lot of time with a boy Skyler. Now I like it on both, but prefer Schuyler for a boy and Skyler for girls. Skye maybe a little dated, but not too much.

I can't say why but I've always disliked Skyler, Skylar and Schuyler. Also, I always end up saying Skylar as SKY-lar and I know that's not the intended pronunciation.

I do like Skye but not Sky. The -e makes it more namey.

I prefer it on a boy but I like it on a girl as well. My favorite spelling is Schuyler for both. I actually like Skyler for a boy as well but not for a girl. Schuyler [f] gives me the same preppy vibes as Sloan, which I guess I’m kind of into.

I don’t like Sky / Skye better. They seem incomplete. They are kind of dated, yes.

Skyler: girl. Skylar, Schuyler: boy. Skye: girl. Sky: boy. I love it. It's a modern classic.

Meh. The bloom has gone off the rose for this name. It does feel a little dated already. But my preferred spelling would be Schuyler. It feels the least trendy. I'd like it best on a boy.

I used to love this name. I wanted to change my name to this so bad when I was like 8. Nowadays, I think it's fine. Not my favorite anymore.

They are in my opinion pretty dated, hence why I lost interest in the name.

I think it's dated, Skyla is another spelling I've seen. I don't really like any of the sky names
