With that spelling, it should logically rhyme with Zany. I know logic and names don't go together, but why drop the second n? What's the point?I love Daniel for a boy, but I greatly dislike the fem versions. Daenerys is unthinkable. Danica ... a lot of people assume it sounds like DANikka, but if they can get over that, it's the best option. And then you could use Dani quite easily.

I mean...it does sound like DAN-ih-ka in English, and that’s the prn I use in my head, I’m admittedly not a fan of the Slavic prns.I prefer Dany to Dani, Danny is too masculine imo. I don’t think anyone in any English speaking country would mispronounce Dany as Day-nee.
