Not my style. I assume most people now associate it with Legend of Zelda, but I first think of the aunt from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I really like it. I'd have considered it if my husband hadn't vetoed it.

As years have gone by in my naming hobby/adventure, I've grown to really adore Zelda.

It's basically a perfect name and I'm bummed I didn't have kids early enough to be an innovator b/c I'm sure it's going to get trendy

You could use Zelma. Or is that too similar?

It's too ugly, sorry. The elm makes me feel like I'm being sucked into muck. Eld makes me pop out and glitter

Love it. Probably my favorite girl name right now. I grew up on the Legend of Zelda games and always thought it was cool. My partner’s a big Zelda fan too so I’m kinda hoping I can talk him into it should we ever find ourselves having a girl. My go-to combo right now is Zelda Ingrid.

Zelda is a lot of fun. It's one of those super-retro names that doesn't sound "old" at all - I think the Legend of Zelda video games went a long way toward making this name palatable for my generation (Millennials) and younger ones. In this light we can ultimately thank Zelda Fitzgerald, since that's who Miyamoto named the character after. The trick with Zelda, though, is finding a middle. I've often struggled with this; but here are some combos I've played around with in the past:Zelda Alexandrie
Zelda Elizabeth (if you want to tone things down)
Zelda Meredith
Zelda Marigold
Zelda Nadine
Zelda Naomi
Zelda Lucille
Zelda Lorraine
Zelda CarolineI've also found Zelma intriguing for years.

It’s a meh name. Not bad but not good either. I like the meaning though.

Much better without the Gri-, but rather flat-footed and unattractive.

I absolutely love it.

I love this name, so much. It's witchy and wacky and fun. Zelda is powerful. It's electric. I would absolutely use it in real life. No idea how I'd pair it, though.

Zelda Minerva
Zelda Lucinda
Zelda Lucille! Oh dang, I love that, and I don't generally like Lucille.

I think Zelda has spunk and is kind of quirky but without being too "out there" quirky. It is different without trying too hard. It is not pretty as such (not obnoxiously frilly) but has beautiful strength. I like it, and would consider using it in real life.
