I quite like Solomon, especially with the nickname Sol.

I'm not as big on Alphaeus, Nehemiah, or Abraham though, sorry; though the last would still be pretty usable in real life today (I used to know an Abe my age - so he'd be 29 / 30 now).

I love Solomon. It has positive associations - not only the biblical character, but also the painter Simeon Solomon. I also like the nickname Sol.

It was a favorite for a long time, and then for a few years I preferred Absalom, but now I'm back to preferring Solomon.

I like Abraham (mainly for NN Abe) but that seems sterner, and I wouldn't use it. The other two are okay.

I only heard Solomon as a surname honestly. I think it is one of the names that one of grandmothers friends had, but I don’t know.

Anyhow, I’d give it a 6.5/10. Not bad, but I would never use it.
