I hate this name. How about Isabelle or Isabella?

It’s the kind of name I can’t imagine on a real person.

It's a gp, I suppose. I know an Isabeau and like her. I don't think I would use it - I'd be boring and stick with Isobel - but I'd enjoy meeting a few more.

I thought this was the most gorgeous name when I was a kid (heard it in Ladyhawk).
Though I like the look of Ysabeau more and these days would probably prefer Isobel or Isidora, I still think it's fun.

I would name a brother and sister something similarly medieval: maybe Edmund/Everard & Amabel? Sylvain & Rosceline for something more French?

I commented on this name before and said it looks like a bootleg version of Isabelle, but it’s not all bad.

I don't like the bo sound at the end.

I personally LOVE the name Isabeau and would no doubt use it if I ever had a daughter. I have always loved the sibling names Genevieve and Evander!
