Godfrey and Aapo
They popped into my head today. What are your thoughts on Godfrey and Aapo (individually, not as a sibset)?
What would you guess their parents are like?

I really enjoy the period charm of Godfrey, and its beautiful if improbable meaning - most gods seem to be fonder of war than of peace, no matter what they claim! Aapo is quite simply impossible where I live, where 'aap' (a cognate of English 'ape' of course) means 'ape' or 'monkey'. Mr and Mrs Godfrey would be gentle, serious and quirky. Mr and Mrs Aapo would be monolingual Finns!

I actually like it as a fictional friend-set.Both names kind-of seem like they would run in the cool crowd in high school. Godfrey's folks are religious or history people. Aapo has famous parents or ones that are reconnecting to their roots.

I've been enamored by Godfrey lately, it's classy and distinguished but also a little playful.Aapo is funny to me, sounds like a pet name (I'm probably thinking of Appa lol)

Their parents are medieval nerds. Godfrey seems low-key stuffy to me. Like an ancient history professor crammed into a little boy.Aapo seems more romantic, like a guy who might whip you off to Italy and bring flowers on the first date.

They're random names; there's no need to apologize.
