Dominque (M)
So what do you think of the name Dominique for a male?Me personally, my fathers name is Dominique and I only knew males with this name. I also notice it’s pretty common amongst black males. Dominic would definitely be better but meh. I feel like it’s fairly unisex. Wdyt?"People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing all day."'*•.¸♡ Have a great day/night! ♡¸.•*' Rate my personal name list please :) https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/217493

I prefer Dominic for a boy, and Dominique for a girl. I like em both.

In French it’s considered unisex so personally I don’t mind it on a male.

I like it for a male. Dominique (along with names like Augustine) is unisex for me.

Dominique is definitely unisex. I know several people called Dominique, both male and female. I can't say I really like it though. I've heard it so many times that it feels rather boring to me.

I think of it as mostly masculine, I think I've seen a number of old French dudes named Dominique on tv growing up, so that's what I associate it with, given no other context. In English, it's more feminine to me, it brings to mind Monique or Angelique.
