Re: 2 celeb BAs (Duggar BA)
Also the OP may or may not know about their personal opinions. I might be a fan of Michael J Fox, but I know shit all about his personal life aside from his Parkinson's Disease. Jumping to conclusions a bit. Also the poster may not even know /who/ they are, and they might have just found them through a recent BA news article and clicked on it out of interest for the name. I certainly don't know who the hell they are and I'd hate for my comment to be read as "supportive" of homophobia just because I wanted to post my opinion on their names If they personally bothered you, all you need to do is either offhandedly mention it below the name opinions, or mention it as part of your reasoning for your opinions. :V---"one particular boogie will move mirror massaging with stirring crepe mixture, positioning loaves while in the furnace then toting items in containers" ~ best Russian daing sites (guest, 198.144.149.xxx) (2020)

The Duggars in particular have a record of outstanding homophobia as many sources will attest, and because they make so much noise any time of of them have another baby, they have been obsessively celebrated on this forum for years. I, as a human being, don’t like to be reminded of their hateful, and moreover, extremist indoctrinations that promote intolerance just because they have a lot of babies. They aren’t even record-breakers, so I fail to see any relevance other than pointing out that they’re promoting their extreme political views—views which aim to damage other people’s lives that are different than their own. I hope that in future, posters on this board will bear it in mind, even though my expectation is that they will post about them just out of spite. Maybe choose love instead.Composer Ignaz Pleyel’s mother had thirty-nine children. Twenty more than the Duggars, I believe.

I'm not disputing that they're homophobic, it's just odd to suggest the poster is homophobic because they want to discuss their baby names on a name website. It's also odd to suggest the poster would be aware of their opinions because I am pretty sure that BA news articles don't tend to go into detail of a celebrity's controversial history, and anybody subscribed to news websites (most of us) might get this sort of article whether or not we're aware of who these people are. Also people are allowed to have "problematic faves" now I've not searched up these particular celebrities (singers? actors?), but trust me when I say that despite my undying love for Harry Potter, I am pretty fucking annoyed with JK right now and it's unlikely I'll ever like her again. But I'd still like to have HP conversations? I can't help it, I fell in love with magic and witches long before HP was a thing in my life, and HP fueled that passion and created friendships. A similar thing can be said about my mother and Michael Jackson. We have no idea why OP might (or might not) be following The Duggars, but it might be similar. I'm just pointing out that it seems rather hostile to suggest something like that when you could have expressed this opinion in another way.

I’m not blaming the original poster if they didn’t know, but if that was the case, hopefully I voiced the matter in a way that was educational to someone who may not know better.
