My name is Isis!
in reply to a message by Quest
Well, my name is Isis, and growing up I didn’t really like my name for generally obvious reasons. Ever since I heard the story behind my name I actually started loving it a lot more now. My online friends know me as Ciara, and obviously real-life friends and family know me as Isis, or Isis Ciara.
And I definitely agree that whole “Isis is unusable” argument is lowkey exaggerated. Growing up nobody ever really even made fun of me for my name, it was just something people knew me as. I grew up to love my name. I liked how I was 1/3 Nyla’s, Emma’s, or Olivia’s in my class. I can understand why somebody would think the name Isis is “unusable” but meh.
Anyways, Astraea is a pretty name. I love how it means “Star”. But I don’t think I would ever use it 6.5/10.

Where do you live? (wondering because Nyla was never common in places I've lived or schools I've been to)
