I think it's an underappreciated name, and probably the only Jer- name I actually like.
It's also not as bizarre in real life as it might seem on paper. I once met the poet Jericho Brown (https://www.amazon.com/Jericho-Brown/e/B002A58KDC?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_2&sr=8-2), very nice man and what a way with words.
