It's a pretentious word to name a baby after. Even if you don't mean it in the "rich" way, it's like calling your baby Special or Best.
How is it different then names that mean superior? Elita sounds pretty, and I'm fairly sure no one would think of"elite"

It's one letter away from "elite," and unless I'm pronouncing Elita completely incorrectly, it sounds just like "elite."
