Alexis
I know it is 90s dated but I do like the sound for both genders. Full name only (no Alex, Lex or Lexi which I all hate). I wouldn't use it as a first, but it might make a good middle name? What do you think?

It isn't 90s imo. There were lots of girls in my class named Alexis. I love the nickname Lexi.

This was the most popular girl name in my age group in school. There were a lot of them in my classes. I remember none of Alexis were friendly. It gives me rude and bratty girl vibes, Plus I find it extremely dated.I never met a boy named Alexis yet, Alexis always strike me as a feminine name.As you can see, I personally dislike this name. I think using it as a middle name is fine.

I think it's ok for a girl

It's funny, Alexis peaked in the US in 1999 but, here in Australia, it's peak was 2011 so, to me, it still has a trendy feel because all the Alexises I know are 10 or younger. I dislike the trend of parents trying to get to the nickname Lexi any way they can (Alexis, Alexia, Alexa) but, that said, I can't help but like Alexis on a girl. It's spunky and I like the nickname potential. I do know one boy Alexis but it really sounds like a girl's name to me. I think it would make a pretty cool middle name =)

I don't mind it, male or female. I like it slightly better for a boy, but it's not the biggest travesty, for a girl. I like all the nicknames, besides Lexi/Lexie. Meh. This name is fine. It gets a B-.

Hate it on a girlIt sounds whiny and tacky to me. I don't mind it on a boy.

I've always liked it, first or middle. Only on a girl, unless a boy is Hispanic or Russian or something.
