In Czech it’s a gender neutral nickname for Michal / Michaela. It’s super cute and it’s also the name of a brand of icecream. Everyone knows it’s not a “full name” tho. It’s be like someone named Mikey. They’d assume it’s short for Michael.

I like both Misha and Sasha.

It's okay. I prefer it as a male name, although I've encountered it on a female as well.
