I like it. It’s a good nickname for a male called James og possibly Jameson (though I like James best of these two).
The -ie ending suggests nickname so I don’t think of it as a full name. And I don’t like “male names on girls” or “a boy named Sue” unless the person in question isn’t cisgendered (and then I still think it’s a strictly male name).
