Do you hate this name?
Do you think it's kind of cute?
Any comments are appreciated.

Too much like Katelyn and I'm still over that name from the 90s.
My husband's niece and her husband named their first daughter Kaylyn. (Their second daughter is Haven btw.) My husband always tries to put the emphasis on the second syllable of Kaylyn, but he's not in touch with naming trends.
I think it's all right, but if it weren't for the fact that she's home schooled I think Kaylyn might find she has a lot of company among her peers.
I'm not too sure how old these girls are but maybe 12 and 10 or so.

Yes, I hate this name. No, I don't think it's cute at all. I've seen it multiple time with all sorts of spellings on both genders by parents who all thought it was unique. It's one of those names that, to me, is more like two sounds squished together than a name. And yes, that description can apply to any name but I think you guys know what I mean (eg. Taygen, Tylen, Swayden, etc)
When I say it out loud, it is cute and has an approachable sporty vibe. It is dated to the 80s/ early 90s and isn't something that I would use, but it still seems likeable. I don't care for how it looks though. The spellings Kailyn or Kalyne are a little better.
Mm its okay, I prefer the spelling Kaelyn, though.

I like it
I like Kaylyn. Also like Kaelen.
Very trendy (or formerly trendy), already a bit 90s dated. It was never popular but fits in with Kaylee, Kayla, Kylie, Kyla, Keely, Keeley, Kennedy.
I don't hate the sound, but it feels insubstantial and looks very trendy.
I think I'd try another spelling. Caelin reminds me of Caelius and Caelia, Celia and the meaning "heavenly" and not as trendy as Kaylyn. Cailin means "girl" (but I think the original pronunciation is different). It looks a bit better than Kaylyn. But still a trendy sounding name.
Or I would go for a name similar in style that seems a bit more elegant like Kaia or Gaia. Or Kay, it could make a comeback.
