Eos
Eos (pronounced AY-AWS) means “the dawn” in Greek. What do you think of the name Eos, do you like it?
In my opinion I prefer Aurora, or just Dawn. Eos isn’t bad, and it sounds a little softer. But whenever I say it, it sounds weird for some reason.
Oh, and another thing. It reminds me way too much of the lip balm.

I like it a fair amount, but I definitely do prefer Aurora.
I saw Eos over in the polls, which reminded me of the name's existence and I added it back to my GP list.
The way I pronounce it sounds more like the Greek pronunciation: EH-os / AY-os. I don't like the provided English pronunciation at all. Altogether it's a unique name that would certainly turn heads, but despite being only three letters it's not very practical. It doesn't even seem to be used in Greece.
As for names that mean "dawn," my actual favorite is Zora.
