I used to like Megan more than Meredith, but then it had that amazing popularity surge which left it with spelling and pronunciation variants that made me drop it like a hot brick. And by now it should be pretty well dated, or on its way there.

Megan has always been a favourite of mine but Meredith (which I don’t like as much) seems more historic, somehow. Older.
