Rosalind
I really like Rosalind. What do you think?

I love it! It reminds me of my maternal Gramma, who also had a Rose name - Rosemary. She wasn't quite wired the way grandmas usually are (you know, like the sweet old lady next door who spoils her grandkids), but I loved hearing her stories and laughter. But anyway, my point is that I adore Rosalind and would totally use it (for a character)!

I adore it. My husband just told me he likes it too, so its currently in my top 3. I do worry a little about pronunciation. ROHS-a-lind vs. RAWZ-a-lind. I'd call a Rosalind Rosie. My favourite combo at the moment is Rosalind Philippa.

I love it. Sounds great (more serious and appealing than Rosalie) plus you get a Shakespeare reference, a science reference, and animal reference, and a bonus plant reference all in one name.

I really like Rosalind too! I love the femininity and romance I associate with it. I also love all the potential nicknames - Rosa, Rosie, Rose, Lindy, Roz, etc.

I love As You Like It, and Rosalind is a terrific character. As Ros- names go, I prefer Rosamond and then Rosemary but I think that Rosalind might come in second if only I hadn't had a particularly difficult colleague named Rosalind once.

I love it. You can’t go wrong with a Rose name, in my opinion.

It's gorgeous. I prefer Rosamund, though.

It's very pretty written down. Rose-y and linda-y, and dignified, kinda like Eleanor is.
Said aloud, though, it's not distinct from Rozlyn. Roz can be a cool nickname, but I don't think I'd count on it - I don't like it that much.
If it were pronounced Rose-a-lind, I'd like it much more.

I think it’s too heavy for a younger person. I just can’t see it. I hate these clunky names.

You can't see Rosie or Lindy on a kid?

I like it a lot, too. It has an "Old Hollywood" feel about it I like (a la Rosalind Russell). I actually tend to like most "Rose-" names.

Nice name, although I prefer the variants Rosalin and Rosaline, they sound softer.

It's magical. I like the meaning.

It’s one of my favorite names! Beautiful and floral, without being as common as Rose.
