Rain
WDYT of Rain? Boy, or girl? **Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

I kind of like it for a girl. I always thought that Rain Carys Maru sounded good together.

Girl. I especially like it.

I like for it for both, but, I like it more for a girl. As a boy's name, it makes me think of the Mortal Kombat character

It's hippy-ish in a subdued and unimpressive way. I think it's more feminine.

I’m going with both, but leaning towards boy. I only like Rain as a middle name, but I like Rayne as a first name for a girl.

Fine on both genders but works a bit better on a girl. Much much much better than Reign or Raine or Rayne or anything else you could come up with. Rain is nice.

I like it for a girl. I also like Raina and Raine.

HateI love rain as a meteorological phenomenon, but as a name? It sounds so nasally strident.

Rain is one of the only names that feels 100% unisex to me. I prefer it on a boy, though.

I’ve always liked it, but only for a girl.

"Rain, Rain, go away, come again another day"...do kids still sing that? Could be irritating to someone named Rain, if so.I like it...more than most comparable names, at least...more than River, Sky, Tempest, Sunshine, Cloud...less than Ocean and Clay. Unisex.
I also like Jane / Gawain / Zane / Igraine / Elaine but not Wayne / Shane / Lane / Cain.

Terrible

I’m not fussed on it. It’s an “average” word name. I prefer Storm - Rain is less, well, exciting.
It’s completely unisex to me.

I love the name Rain. It has a more female feel to me but could be appropriate for either sex.
