I never really cared for Roger but I could see it grow on me.

I dislike Seraphina, but Roger has always been a favourite. Piratical and jolly, it's well known without ever having been too popular. And as a child I hugely enjoyed the Arthur Ransom Swallows and Amazons books, where Roger was a delightful character. The only Roger I know is successfully married to an old friend, so that's good too.

Roger is my father’s name, so I am both fond of it and unable to separate it from him!

Don't care much for Serafina.

I've started watching the HBO series yesterday, as it happens. I quite like Roger, but only with English pronunciation. The French pronunciation makes it sound very old.

I don't like Roger, serafina is ok

Roger's not terrible but it's got a comical feel to it. Like Roger could be the lovable but bumbling dad or uncle on a sitcom.
Serafina sounds like a kind of shampoo.
