It’s nice. I don’t love it, but it is a nice name.

I love it and would use it. It has a beautiful meaning and sound. It feels very put together and smart.

I think Celeste is lovely. A very ethereal sounding name.

Over-ambitious. I've known two: one of them, a cat, was named by my friend when we were both 6 years old, in honour of the wife of Babar, king of the elephants. She was a little grey tabby and soon became known as Kitty. The other was a human colleague, who deplored what she saw as her parents' sentimentality in choosing the name for her, and would only answer to Sally.

Meh... it's really girly and sorta pretentious IMO. I don't mind that people feel like it rhymes with incest and molest. Irl no one thinks like that :)

I think it's very pretty and has a peaceful sound to it. I have a good friend named Celeste, she suits the name as she is soft-spoken and kind.

It makes me think of the Chris Watts case and his little daughter Celeste called Cece whom he murdered along with her sister and mom :( It also makes me think of "molest" and I dislike the nickname Cece personally. The meaning is nice, though.

I used to be in love with Celeste. It’s soft and ethereal, not too long, pretty without being frilly - everything I like in a name.
I still like it now but it feels a bit tired, so I don’t think I would use it.

I’ve always liked it, it’s very pretty. I also think it ages well. I do however prefer it for a mn.

Too airy, but the Italian pronunciation "cheh-LEH-steh" is pretty.
