Lilla
This name Lilla, the Italian word for “lilac”, has gotten my attention. I love Lila, but it’s sometimes just too perfect. Lilla seems a bit more fun. I don’t tend to like L names in general because of people I’ve known tending to be crazy with that initial, but I do like me some Lilla.
I have never warmed to frumpy Lillian. Liliana annoys me a lot.
Lili and Lilia are gorgeous, but Lily is just a bit too vapid.

Lilla looks too much like Lilia for me, I'd always be confusing it or squinting at the second l to see if it's an l or an i.
I'd also prefer Lila because where I live Lilla would probably get mistaken for LIHL-a, like the "i" sound in Lily or Lillian, and Lila is more obviously LEE-la. I do like the lilac meaning of Lilla though.

It seems very frilly and nicknamey, it’s not used as a name in Italy, except perhaps as a nickname.
I like Lilia better.

Is it pronounced LEE-la or LILL-a?
I dislike LILL-a. It just sounds harsh and heavy. Very unattractive.
LEE-la is nice, but not intuitive. Lila looks better for LEE-la and "lila" (LEE-la) is the German word for "purple" which is kind of nice.
I also dislike Lillian and Liliana. I love Lily and Lilia. Lili is nice as well.

Lilla (pronounced in English, at least) is a bit too liquid for my liking. It almost eludes pronunciation.
Its ok
