I like Aureliana. I also like Silviana, Octaviana, Viviana, and Verdiana. I'm sure they look overwrought to some people, but I like that about them.
Aurelia is more down-to-earth seeming...or about as austere / dressed-down as an otherwise princessy seeming name can be. I like that about it, too.
I say 'aw' or 'ah' (which seem very similar to me) when I see Au.
The vowel sounds in rail and care and bet are all close to me (or likely when I say care, it's a combination of ay and eh), so I'm confused either way.
I've never heard anyone say Aurelia as if it rhymes with Azalea, which is what the rail pronunciation would seem like? I've heard it like ehl or eel, not ail.
