Morgana
This name has been swirling around my thoughts lately. My impression is witchy, imposing, and slightly mischievous. It's interesting that I feel drawn to it when I don't normally like modern-ish names like Morgan and Jordan. But to me, Morgana feels different. WDYT? Combos? Sibsets? “Be the change that you wish to see in the world" -Gandhi

I adore Morgana, and my mum thought about using the name for me, but didn’t think my dad would agree. I think the witchy connection adds some imagery and beauty to it. Morgana definitely feels different from Morgan and Jordan, a lot older, and there’s almost a nature connection; I think green expanses and calm seas that could be whipped up into a wild storm at any moment. Part of my current combo plays into the witch and nature aspects (Morgana Hermione Tempest), but I also like:Morgana Alice
Morgana Iris
Morgana Elise
Morgana Clio/Cleo
Morgana Opal
Morgana Raven
Morgana Thea
Morgana CerysFor a really long time I loved the idea of Morgana and Rowenna as siblings.
Morgana & Demelza
Morgana & Luna
Morgana & Calista
Morgana & Willow
Morgana & Isadora
Morgana & Faith

It sounds like a witch name.

I've loved Morgana for years, and I always associate it with the sorceress - who was introduced to my child self as Morgana instead of Morgan. The latter name I think of as unisex-leaning-masculine, and much more modern-sporty than medieval. But Morgana is still a powerful sorceress.I had Morgana Willow in my Top 10 for a long time. There's also:Morgana Rose
Morgana Lenore
Morgana Lily
Morana Maeve (if you don't mind the double-M)
Morgana Whitney
Morgana Lorelai / Morgana Lorelei
Morgana Nadine
Morgana Gwenith
Morgana Violet
&
Lilia Morgana / Lily Morgana

It feels very witchy, but equally sinister, like the name of a villain in every fantasy novel you've ever read. I do prefer it to Morgan, which is strictly masculine to me.

I don’t like it at all. I’m not crazy about Morgan and putting an a on the end just seems ridiculous. I do like Morwenna though.

Hate itI adore witchy names, but I think Morgan is hideous, and Morgana sounds like an attempt to beautify freshen up the overused Morgan.I much prefer Morwenna and Megana.

It definitely has a different feel from Morgan, but looks a tad forced to me. I prefer Morgane.

I like Morgana infinitely better than Morgan for girls. It gives much the same impression you describe.
