Khyle
WDYT? Pronounced like Kyle.I saw it somewhere the other day, and I was disgusted that someone would have so blatant a spelling mistake in their child's name.

I hate it. Why use a fancy made-up spelling just to be different? Nothing wrong with Kyle.

Oof that's terrible and makes me wonder if whomever named the child was suddenly struck in the head with a coconut or something. Kyle itself is a very nice, practical name but that poor kid is going to spend his entire life constantly correcting people due to that ridiculous variant.

Awful. I have also seen it spelled Kyal.

I'm disgusted because it looks like it's "chyle" with a K. (Chloe / Khloe, Chyle / Khyle)
QuoteChyle (from the Greek word χυλός chylos, "juice"[1]) is a milky bodily fluid consisting of lymph and emulsified fats, or free fatty acids (FFAs). It is formed in the small intestine during digestion of fatty foods...

I get that it’s supposed to be “Kyle” but my mind keeps misreading it as Klyle. I think it’s awful and I’m so sorry for that person. Kry8ive spellings are really just terrible 9 out of 10 times and I really don’t understand why someone would doom their child to ALWAYS having their name misspelled because YOU misspelled it. It’s not the spelling that makes a child stand out, it’s their personality.

Mistakes are inadvertent. This is a misguided attempt to ensure that their litle Khyle isn't confused with all the other little Kyles ...

This is ugly, but I used to work with a woman who named her son Kiel and had everyone pronounce it like Kyle so people are awful.

yes far too many creative spellings

Not a fan. Not a fan of creative spelling in general but it feels especially stupid on short names like this.Reminds me of a name I saw the other day: Zacirye Ya'll. That's trying to spell Zachary. I had no idea what to call this kid when he showed up to my office, thank god he introduced himself!

Yikes! That would definitely not be the pronunciation that came to mind upon seeing Zacirye.
