I dislike most surname names, but Reagan is worse than most. Even if I enjoyed the sound, which I don't, the association with Ronald Reagan would be enough to deter me.

I don’t like a presidential name for a boy much less a girl. I’d no more name a girl Reagan than I would a boy Clinton or Truman.

I don’t live in the US so I don’t have a problem with really liking it. I like the sound and how it looks. But there would definitely be Ronald Reagan comments once in a while. And yeah, he was not exactly great.

I feel like in an American context, it seems like a political statement.

I kind of like Teagan, though, which is similar style-wise (once politics is taken out of the equation). I also like (and would prefer) Raina and Rhiannon.

Not my style. I always think of Ronald Reagan, and the girl from The Exorcist, whose first name was Reagan.

I think it's an unattractive sound. I just don't like the gan sound; don't like Morgan or Logan or Teagan or Megan.

Hate it so much. Don’t like it for a boy either but it’s worse on a girl. It’s just so bland and boring, the sound isn’t pleasant and I find no redeeming qualities about it. Plus I’m also not a Ronald Reagan fan.

Not a fan. We actually have a close relative who named her now toddler Reagan. Boy, did I have to do some acting when she first told us the name they'd chosen. I like it marginally better since I've come to know and love the little girl. But I'm still not keen.

I don't like it. One of my close friends is a creative spelling of Reagan, and she is fabulous, but the name. No. Yuck.

I find it pretty unusable because of Ronald Reagan.

Ree-gan is not so bad - in my mind, it's spelled Regan - and it kinda vexes me that people ever read Regan as "ray gun." I think it can't be because of Megan, because Reagan isn't Reg- like Meg, and Megan isn't May-gun either, at least not any that I've ever met. Whatever, if I liked Regan more it'd bug me, but I can live without it.

Ronald Reagan was despicable, and this name sounds hideous.

I dislike it strongly on the grounds of sound, and then the president makes it just illegal lol

I don't like it that much. President Reagan was before my time but my mom didn't support him and says he was an ass. Reagan has too much resting on it and is to pretentious. Plus people would spell it Raygan, Raegan etc and that gets on my nerves. I just don't like it at all.
