ehm.. ehm.. Violet is a pretty hard one to get really cute names for. I think Plum is cute though as an accasional nickname. Letty / Lettie if it's supposed to be used as a more permanent serious nickname.

My friend from New Zealand calls her daughter Vylee. It seems awkward at first, bit it gets smoother the more you say it.
