WDYTO Leigh (g)?

It's unobjectionable, and for a girl, I do prefer the Leigh spelling. It looks more feminine. Okay? Okay??
Hate it
I'm sorry, but it hardly amounts to a name for me. If I met someone named Leigh, I'd reflexively assume their parents didn't want to put effort into naming their child.

I don't anything against it, though I personally wouldn't use it.
I don’t like anything about this name in any spelling. It just seems like a random syllable, devoid of character or substance. And the fact that its history involves yet another surname crossing over just clinches it, although usually after a period of time and enough usage it becomes bearable for me.
But I suppose if my arm were really twisted I’d choose Leigh for a girl and Lee for a boy.

I actually like the Leigh spelling for a boy. I believe that is more typical in Great Britain? Not too keen on the name for a girl. But the right person could maybe sell me on it. I'm not a huge fan of the -ley names. They all sound so much alike. And some of them feel like you just took a name and tacked -ley on the end to make it more unique.
I can see that naming a boy Lee would be a reasonable use of a family ln. But, in spite of having an admirable step-nephew named Lee, I don't go for it.
Leigh for a girl is a different matter. But I'm heavily influenced by a girl Leigh that I knew at school. She was strong, brave, warm and loving and she could have sold me on any name, I think! Her name was Mabel Leigh, which doesn't flow as a combo and she always went by Leigh anyway. I think they were both family names.

I think Leigh looks ugly, and it makes me want to put a phlegm sound at the end of the name. The only Leigh I know is an older guy with gray hair.
Lee is good on its own, it's more feminine, cute and short and versatile. But it really feels like a nickname or a filler middle name.
Lee for a boy makes me think of someone middle-aged or older. On a girl it could be any age.
