Funny because I’ve always loved Carmella but not Marcella. Marcella just sounds dated to me.
Though I’ve usually seen Carmella on elderly women, it doesn’t sound dated. It’s very appealing—I like the warm, caramelly vibes of it like you do.
I’ve always liked Carmel (I actually have a cousin named Caramel, believe it or not, and I much prefer Carmel!) but I like how Carmella makes it a little less candy-esque.
