I prefer Savannah...if we're talking grassland names. lol But Prairie is just too Sesame Street for me... same reason I wouldn't use Elmo. lol Ironically enough, though, I'd use names like Zoe and Abigail (Abby) in a heartbeat!

I think it’s super cute! It fits in with all the nature names imo, so I’d love to meet a Prairie.

It's very hippy and 60s retro.

Prayer-y.

It's a bit awkward to say with the two Rs so close together, which makes it a middle-name-only name for me. The idea isn't bad in itself. Not something I'd chose, but I can see the appeal.

I think it is pretty but I would want it as a MN, especially as the two Rs together make it hard to say sometimes! Alice Prairie
Louise Prairie
Lucy Prairie
Susanna Prairie
Matilda Prairie
Frances Prairie
Eve Prairie
Tamsin Prairie
Fiona Prairie

I loved the TV series “the OA” but I thought the main character’s name was ridiculous every time they said it. That’s my only experience with it as a name.

It's kind of pretty, but also it's kind of hard to say clearly.
There was and still is a Muppet on Sesame Street called Prairie Dawn.

As a little girl Prairie Dawn was my favourite but I did think her name was Prairie Doll!

Sounds better than Savannah, probably because it's shorter.

I guess if there’s Meadow and Brook/e, there can be Prairie. With the placement of the R’s, it may be difficult for little ones to pronounce. Ri or RiRi or Rae could be nns? I’m sure there will be plenty of correcting others when introductions are made.
“Hello. My name is Prairie.”
“Nice to meet you Perry.”
“It’s Prairie.”
