I don’t like the sound of Cassie within a name for a boy. For that matter, I don’t like the name (nn or fn) Cassie for a girl. I know boys with the name Cash and have never heard them teased/joked about for the name. Most people who encounter them think it’s cool because of Johnny Cash.

I like Cassian. Not enough to use, but I like it. I pronounce it as “CASS-ee-an” to avoid Cash jokes.

I like the way it looks but it sounds feminine to me. Cassius sounds more masculine to me.
