Linus
Thoughts?
Is it too much Peanuts.. I think its a hella cool name I also love that in German you can get the nickname Lino (not a great idea in English tho)
What would you pair it with?

I love it.
I don't know how familiar small children are with Peanuts, or with linoleum.

I don’t care for it. Sounds too nerdy for my taste.
It's a common name here in my generation. I also have a cousin (born in December) with this name. It's not my favorite, I find it very childish sounding.
I can only pair it with Lucy and a blanket.
I'm torn. I could see Linus making a comeback of sorts. Not that it's ever been crazy popular. The right person named Linus could do wonders for it. But I definitely do think of Peanuts. Plus I get a pet name vibe from it too. But that's not a dealbreaker.
I love it! It's affable but also bookish.
Linus Algernon first sprang to mind, followed by Linus Everard and Linus Auberon.

Still too much Peanuts. When I hear the name I think of the character and his blanket.

I love Linus, and I think it’s just about ready to shake the Peanuts reference. All it takes is one cool/cute IRL example, and people will appreciate it again like I do. I can feel it.
It’s got a great sound and a great history. I’d 100% use it if my spouse was on board.
