I know three girls (two of them Muslim) who are called Elisha pronounced like Alicia. It wasn't until I was looking on BtN that I found out it was a Biblical boys name.

Elijah is becoming popular for boys, even though they're not religious. I do know more toddlers called just Eli than Elijah though.

I also know a ton of girls / women called Eli pronounced Ellie. It's a minefield!
