Woah, I would not expect that name on a baby at all. It seems similar to names like Phyllis and Gladys, which I also don't think are ready for comebacks yet. I also don't really like most D names. I prefer male D names over female D names. I just think the beginning D sounds so harsh.

I'm of the opinion that Gladys will never come back. It was popular at the same time that Hazel was (my grandmother Hazel had a sister named Gladys), and while Hazel has come back, Gladys is nowhere in sight. I think if Gladys were going to come back, it would have by now.
