I love it. It's sexy and silky. Slinky dresses, long dark hair, red lipstick. That's what I see when I hear the name. Then I think of the astronaut and that makes me like it even more!

It looks overly flamboyant to the point of being gaudy. I prefer Valeria, which is much simpler.

I know two Valentina’s. One child and one adult who are both from Italy. I really like the name but the nickname options aren’t that great: Val or Tina.

I never used to like it, but it is growing on me. I like the nickname options.

I know a young adult Valentina, she goes by Val. Personally I think Val is a waste of such a nice name. I also think Lenny would be a fun unexpected nickname from Valentina.
