Tirzah
Today's name of the day is Tirzah. WDYT?The first time I heard Tirzah was in the movie Ben-Hur, and even then I thought it was a beautiful name. I've never met a Tirzah in real life, but would love to.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

It's one of my favorites. I've seen some people comment that it doesn't translate well (tears, I guess), but I feel like it's sturdy and effortlessly elegant. It also reminds me a bit of Theresa.

Not a personal favorite.

I think it's a fun name. The Z makes it feisty. It also seems like an even name. The T and the H balance each other out nicely.

I love it! The "rz" dyad is so unusual; I think it's responsible for the name's distinctive aura.

The more I say it the more I like it. I like Tiri as a nn. I know siblings Aquilla (b) nn Quill and Tirzah (g). There was a teacher in my school named Thurza Clements.

I first came across Tirzah while reading the Bible and was instantly entranced!! If my Husband was more adventurous then I would LOVE to use Tirzah as to me it has a bright, dancing quality and a lovely meaning too!

I like it. I had to look up how to pronounce it properly, but I like the way it sounds. As a woman with a T name, I have to say I do like other female names that start with T. They seem strong and assertive to me.

I think it’s a lovely name. I haven’t heard it outside of Ben Hur either but I like it a lot.

I once knew a Tirza. She was very nice, a gentle soul and very pretty so my feelings for this name are only positive. It’s an unusual and very pretty name, IMO.
