Re: Theodosia
This name isn't new to me via "Hamilton", because I've been aware of it since I was a kid and first read "My Theodosia" by Anya Seton, which is about the same Theodosia in "Hamilton". After liking (but not loving) the book for all these years, I was intrigued to listen to the song about Theodosia from "Hamilton." Alas, I found it disappointing. I just don't like "Hamilton". Anyway, I've thought it a pretty name since that first exposure. Much better than Theodora. But Theodosia Burr is referred to as Theo throughout "My Theodosia" and I'm not a fan of that nickname, so it's not a name I would use.

I didn't care a whole lot about the song either. I wonder if I'll grow to be addicted to Hamilton like my mom. I think it's more about the whole impression of the entire thing than the individual songs, and I don't think LMM's strength is in ... melodic writing.
