I can see why people might like this name. I suppose it's not bad on its own. Unfortunately, to me this appeal is largely obscured by Sebastian being the stereotypical chav name in Poland. "Seba" or "Sebix" became words for lower class, rowdy, typically racist and homophobic, young men. And the name itself isn't beautiful enough on its own merit for me to try and appreciate it. That’s very interesting! I love learning new stuff like that. It sounds like Sebastian in Poland is perceived like Brian is in Denmark

I didn’t know that about Sebastian in Poland. I know a Seba who fits that stereotype really well!

Haha, congrats on knowing a true "typical Seba". I just want to make it extra clear that obviously not all people called Seba fit this description. But it is a well established slang term.
