I adore Florian! I like Sasha as a nickname.

I love the name Sasha for a boy but I’d probably name him Alexander and call him Sasha perhaps. In the country Sasha is a girls name mostly.
As for Florian I honestly don’t like it. It sounds a bit old fashioned to me. Or it makes me think of the Roman emperor Florianus.

I really enjoy them! In this era of masculine/gender ambiguous names on girls, I like the idea of softer, flowery, but definitely historically male names for boys. Plus they look and sound nice together.

Glorious! I was really hoping Sasha would be a boy. I adore Sasha on a boy. Florian I don't like as much because I know a young one who has soured me on it lol.

I always have mixed feelings about Sasha on a boy outside of countries where the name originated; however this is possibly because the only male Sasha I have known in person was someone I disliked (though looking back now I couldn't tell you why... school is weird like that!). They're both reasonable, sensible names. I love Florian and wish my wife would go for it, but as our surname is a double-barrelled one it would sound absurdly upper-class lol.
