Leroy
Even as a child I loved the name Leroy. It’s unlike all my other favorite names, yet there it is. Unmoved from my list after all these years. In my mind I’ve paired it with the name Wesley. Leroy and Wes. Which is probably too similar for brothers. What do you think of the name Leroy?

First thought NCIS, Leroy and Wesley aren't similar at all. It's ok

I love it. And love hillbillies too.

I may be in the minority of opinions here but I personally like it. I have a soft spot for it as it was the middle name of my maternal grandfather, along with several other family members in honor of him. I wouldn't mind considering it myself. I think Leroy is an underappreciated, charming name with a vintage, rustic vibe.

It's got a dim-bulb, yokel vibe to it. I'm surprised it wasn't a character on the Beverly Hillbillies. Jethro and Leroy and Ellie Mae.
I believe it's considered almost a stereotypical "black" name, but the few Leroys I've known have all been white.

To be honest I don’t care for it.

I don't like Leroy. It has a very hillbilly vibe to me.I love Wesley and Wes, though. I don't see how Leroy and Wesley nn Wes are too similar for brothers.
