Agnes
Today's name of the day is Agnes. WDYT?
Personally, I have never seen the appeal of Agnes. I know the similar Agatha has gotten some love of these boards, but I've never been keen on that name, either - although I do think I prefer it to Agnes. Either way, it's the Ag- sound. I just cannot make myself like it.

I find it frumpy and boring, it's a laundry maid kind of name.
Love it. It’s my middle name and I love that it’s unusual as a middle name for my age group (1980s). I was give the name after my grand aunt who died two years before I was born at the age of just 58.
I like Agatha but don’t love it and if used it would be a middle name.

I prefer the French pronunciation.
No I don't like it or Agatha
I agree, I'm not a fan of the "ag" sound. Also, hearing Agnes makes me think of the comic.
