twin girls, due this month, I'm still at it......
This is my thought today. Augusta is new. It just grew on me. What do you think? People here (semi-rural TX) just "hate" the Hazel saying it sounds "old", but the fact that it's not in common use here lately doesn't make it ugly in my eye. For what it's worth my son's name is Oliver Samuel, but I don't feel compelled to follow the same convention with naming the girls. He has a father, they have a sperm donor.Hazel Zahara
Augusta WillowThanks again for your thoughts, Gina

I adore these two combos, and I also think they go well with your son's name. Hazel & Augusta definitely sound like sisters and even the mn's complement one another. :) Let us know what you finally decide, but I definitely think these are keepers. Good luck!

Hazel Zahara I think is very pretty- good job! I do like Augusta very much, and it doesn't sound old-fashioned to me. However, Willow seems a little out-there, and I would choose a different MN. Suggestions:Augusta Claire
Augusta Charlotte
Augusta Rachel
Augusta Rachelle
Augusta Jade
Augusta Jill
Augusta GraceAnd the baby brigade continues... I'm due exactly a month from yesterday, although I'm expecting just one little girl. Congratulations!- MelissaArielle Norah

I love Hazel & Augusta and they are great sister names and go very nicely with Oliver. I love all three middle names as well. It's great. I'd go for it.

They're beautful. Zahara is the only name out of the bunch I'm normally not into, but it makes a great combo with Hazel. Augusta Willow is utterly gorgeous. They make an excellent sib set.

I'd personally prefer Hazel Augusta and Willow Zahara. I think those combos flow a lot better.

I like Hazel Zahara. Nice combo. Augusta is really not my style though. It sounds raggety and unrefined to me. Willow is lovely though. And I like the Hazel and Willow connection. So I guess I'd rather see Willow Augusta. Also, if your going to use an African mn for one, why not the other? How about Hazel Zahara and Willow Kamaria? Too themey maybe...hmm...the Shea (Shay) tree is an important tree in Africa, maybe that would be more subtle. Hazel Zahara and Shea Augusta?

Augusta is very pretty. And goes well with Hazel. Where's the Kaboom? There's suppose to be an Earth shattering kaboom!" -Marvin the Martian.

I love Hazel and Augusta (my top girl name is Eleanor Augusta)! I'm not too keen on the middle names (especially since Hazel Zahara seems very celebrity-baby, a la Julia and Angelina), but they flow well.

I think it's quite nice, actually. I love Hazel and Willow, and Zahara is lovely too. I wouldn't pick Augusta, but it's perfectly nice.I LOVE your son's name!

I think Hazel is beautiful and not old-fashioned at all. I love it :) Hazel Zahara is a nice combo. While I love August on both a boy and a girl, I really can't stand either Augustus or Augusta *shrugs* How about August? IMO, Hazel and August sound great, and August Willow is so beautiful I think I might melt! :) However, if you prefer Augusta, there's nothing wrong with it, and it makes a nice twin set with Hazel (although not as nice as August ;)) I also think all three names go well with Oliver, Oliver is a great name wrecked for me by a bad association :(Don't worry about people thinking their old-fashioned, just go with the names you love.

I love Hazel Zahara and Augusta Willow! I also like Willow Augusta, and the similar-sounding Zahira.

Personally,
I'm not a big fan of the name Zahara, or Willow. My first name is August and it gets mistaken (alot) for Augusta, people think I must've spelled it wrong on papers, forms, such and such.
I'll tell you, it's annoying.I think it's a nice name, but it's not MY name, which is why it bothers me.
Hazel is nice, but, I must say.
it's my dogs name =
I can't see it for a child.

I love them! Gorgeous choices! Hazel and Augusta are not names I would ever use but I would be so so happy to see them on someone else's child. Zahara and Willow are beautiful. They are lovely unusual names without be trendy or made up and they sound wonderful as a sibset.

Very nice combos, they compliment eachother well!

Hazel and Augusta sound wonderful together, imo. The mn's are nms, but they flow. Good luck!

Cute! No more Hazelle? If you love it and are only turned off by what we say here, just use it! Hehe. I'm not a fan, so I usually say i don't like it in your posts, but it matters what you like! I like all these names though.Hazel Zahara - Very nice. Original without being tryndee. I have a soft spot for Z's. Hazel and Zara are two of my fave's so this fits right in!Augusta Willow - I love Willow. Augusta is not something I'd use, but it's not bad at all! Mush better than Alyssa or Ashley! Augusta sounds a bit dated to my ears, but you could give her a cute fun nickname! Both awesome, in my opinion!

Affectionate nicknames happen without any effort around here- I'm positive one or more will pop up quickly for both of them.
I still hear a word that rhymes with gazelle when I write Hazel, but I don't want to give her something she'll have to spell the rest of her life.
Hazel and Augusta are both "dated", I believe, but that's not bad in my opinion. I much prefer dated to trendy.

I think Hazel Zahara is really interesting (not in a bad way at all) and I think Augusta Willow is pretty too. =)For what it's worth, I don't really think sibsets "matching" matters anyway.
