Genevieve was one of my top names like 10 years ago when I got more into names. I first saw it while browsing hurricane name lists and thought it was really cool and different. It has become too popular and much discussed for my liking, especially on this site. I still like it but I wouldn't call it a huge favorite.

I like both pronunciations, the French one is very elegant and aristocratic, the English one makes it more cheerful and lively.
