Blaze

I associate it strongly with Blaise which I prefer which may contribute some to me seeing it as masculine, but it honestly seems like a total macho name to me. Like the kind that's trying too hard to be cool.
I think it's hilarious. Strong stoner vibes indeed. I'm more okay with it on a girl because it's more straightforward like this. On a boy I'd be confused if the parents were stoners or just didn't know how to spell Blaise or both xD
Ha, I think it's comically masculine. It's like, a modern virtue name. Thinking of it as a virtue name is cracking me up. I'm imagining a little hell raiser named Blaze sitting next to little Sin-not and Die-well.
I can't imagine it on a girl.

It's a GP for me. I think it's a very masculine name. I can't even begin to imagine this on a girl.
There was a Blaze on the local news a while back who unfortunately met quite a sad end, but he was such a great kid that it really endeared me to the name.
I don't see it as a girl's name at all as it evokes really masculine imagery like muscle cars with flame decal on them.

So I feel it necessary to elaborate on this post now after responding to the other one lol
It’s funny, I’ve never met a female Blaze (or a male one, for that matter) besides the one I know...she spells it Blaize. I think Blaise may be part of her father’s name. She’s an amazing person so I have positive associations to it.
But even if I didn’t know her, I’d like it because I have this thing for names with ‘z’s in them plus I like the fiery meaning of it (the good kind of fire). I like it for either sex.

Incredibly tacky, plus the “blazing = smoking weed” slang doesn’t make it better. I much prefer Blaise for a boy and Blair(e) for a girl.
I don't like it at all, I've only seen it for a boy
