I think it’s cute. I only know it from a song that mentioned Delancey Street in NYC. I know nothing about that street but it has a sweet sound to it...it’s also fun to say. Lol

It looks and sounds quite masculine to me, I can easily imagine it as the name of a middle aged man, but not a teen girl. Delaney or Darcy would work better.

Don’t like it on a girl, it’s purely a male name. Maybe go for Delaney, though?

I don't really like it, too much like Delaney. I'd assume she was named after John de Lancie. (I had to google that to remember if it was Delancey or de Lancie...)

I think of Delancey Street in New York City (not that that's bad or anything, just what comes to mind).

Much prefer Delaney. I just don’t find the “lance” part very flattering.
