Izzy's always struck me as a kind of borscht-belt bartender cliché type name. I know people use it for Isabel or Isabella, but it just seems weird.
Iggy I have no idea. The only Iggy I ever knew of was somebody's pet iguana. I guess it would be short for Ignatius, but … nobody seems to be named Ignatius anymore. Even in the book "Iggie's House" by Judy Blume, which is a really crummy book btw, we never find out what Iggie is short for, if it's short for anything.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
